WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL FORCE MOTORCYCLES WEBSITE
Force Motorcycles was established in 1991 with the purpose of supplying quality used Ex-MoD and Ex-Police Motorcycles.
We quickly became the UK 's leading authority on the Ex-British Forces Armstrong MT500, and since then Harley~Davidson MT350. We currently supply these machines, and offer spares & service assistance for these bikes throughout the UK and indeed, mail order spare parts for them throughout the World.
We also supply parts to the MoD for the MT350's which are still in service.
Alongside the Ex-MoD motorcycles, we also stock the UK 's most comprehensive range of Ex-Police motorcycles, which are sourced from all of the UK 's Police Force fleet.
Since 2009, Force Motorcycles have been situated in Tatenhill, Burton-on-Trent in a premises larger than those previous. This will give us much more scope for displaying our bike stock, offering an increased range of customer services, and spare parts order processing.
The mainstream Police patrol bike is of course the fantastic Honda ST1100 PanEuropean, which we sell over 100 examples of each year. We are very experienced in these bikes, and normally have at least 20 examples in stock at a given time, with a broad range of age/mileage and price.
Most Police forces also use other less obvious bikes, ranging from Honda Fireblades, Blackbirds, VFR800, Transalp's, Africa Twin's, and some off-road bikes such as XR250's, XR400's etc. We have also sold Yamaha R1's, Suzuki RF900's and many more.
We also get BMW's occasionally, nowadays these will probably be the later range of bikes.
Ex-Police motorcycles do represent a fantastic buy for the individual for many reasons.
- The bikes will normally be one owner machines.
- The bikes will have guaranteed , genuine mileage.
- Bikes are maintained to the highest possible standards, due to stringent Health & Safety requirements.
- Wearing parts such as tyres, chain & sprockets will be in superb condition.
In addition to this, Force Motorcycles preparation will include
- Full Service
- Full 12 Months MoT.
- 3 month/3,000 mile warranty.
- The facility for a proper road test, prior to deciding to purchase.
We at Force Motorcycles are committed to customer satisfaction, that is we will endeavour wherever possible to please all the people, all the time!
Since the era of on-line sales, and websites became normal buying practice, we have sold probably 50% of our annual bike sales from the web, without the customer actually seeing the bike first.
We are confident that our descriptions are fair and accurate, and that our standard of machine preparation will give our customer's a decent bike for a decent price.
Our website will now give our customers the facility to place a deposit on a bike actually on-line, thus securing that bike, and identifying it as provisionally sold.
If, on inspection by our customer , the bike is not as described by us and does not meet your expectations, we are quite happy to refund the deposit amount and put the bike back up for sale.
Also we do not believe in trying to sell someone a bike which is not suitable for their requirements, and to this end we will gladly chat about a particular bike and your intended use without a hard-sell approach.
We look forward to your visit to our new site soon!
Please note that we expect our on-line parts ordering facility to be up and running sometime early in the 2011.
Our returns policy is complaint with the Consumer Protection Regulations (2000) which stipulate :
