KL Motorsport - a brief history:
1988
Formation of KL Motorsport.
1993
Harley Davidson began the supply of motorcycles direct to British MoD.
KL Motorsport contracted to complete final assembly incl. the addition of ancillary items, pre-delivery inspections and vehicle commissioning.
1994
Began support of the British Army motorcycle fleet through the provision of initial warranty services on behalf of Harley-Davidson, followed by spares and repair services - supplying parts to various MoD locations and repair facilities.
2004
Spare parts supplied direct to centralised MoD procurement organisation responsible for the distribution throughout UK military establishments and overseas operations
October 2005
Acquired full ISO 9001 accreditation (lapsed Oct 2009)
2005 to March 2009
Formal contract awarded to KL Motorsport to supply motorcycle parts to central MoD procurement operations. Continuation of supply contracts to various military facilities and repair operations.
